We know plans change so if you wish to change your reservation dates and let us know at least 8 days in advance, we will be happy to arrange a new date to receive you. Please note that rescheduling will always be subject to availability and that rates may be adjusted according to the season.
In case of cancellation, if you let us know:

– more than 8 days in advance, there is no charge (only in low season)*

– 7 to 3 days before, 50% of the total amount of the reservation will be charged*

– 2 days or less before the arrival date, 100% of the total amount of the reservation will be charged*

*Any refund will have a bank transaction fee of 6%.

We are located in Minca, a small and picturesque town in the heart of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta.

Here you will find restaurants, bars, stores selling organic and local products and food; as well as crafts and the possibility to enjoy the meeting of typical cultures of this little piece of Colombia. The traditions, food and music of the coast are combined with flavors and rhythms from all over the world since many foreigners have decided to stay and are now part of our community. All of that results in a young and vibrant feel !

The road from the town of Minca is completely accessible; it is possible to get there by car or motorcycle cab in only 5 minutes (if you prefer, we can arrange a pick up from there). Walking along the side of the road takes about 15 minutes as the trail is uphill (not advisable with suitcases or luggage).

Check-in is at 2.00 pm and check-out is at 11.00 am. However, we will be happy to take care of your luggage if you wish to have a bit more time to enjoy our beautiful rainforest.

Here you can enjoy various spa treatments such as Thai massages and mud baths, as well as therapies (such as family constellations and harmonizations with crystals and reiki). You will also have the possibility to share and experience ancestral ceremonies such as the cocoa ceremony thanks to the wisdom of our beloved specialists.

You will be able to hike and learn about the tropical forest, its flora and fauna as well as the regeneration and conservation processes that are taking place in our Jungle Retreat thanks to our expert biologist who will accompany you through the trails of Selva Minca.

Yes, we want to take care of you from the first moment and we will be waiting for you with everything ready the day of your arrival; that is why, after making your reservation you will be able to select -with a special discount- all the services you wish to hire.

Of course we do ! We love them and we want to take care of them; therefore we ask you to always keep them on their leashes to avoid any possible confrontations with other animals. We also ask you to bring your own beds or covers if they are used to climb on the couches.

Yes, from 7 years old.

The climate is tropical warm all year round, although temperatures drop slightly at night.

The rainy season is in April and May and from August to November.

-Hermetic bags to protect your personal belongings (such as documents, clothes and electronic items) from the humidity of the rainforest.

-Clothing suitable for warm weather, quick-drying,

pants and long-sleeved shirts or t-shirts to protect you from insects.

-Mountain shoes, with good grip and quick drying.

Keep in mind that flip-flop type shoes are not suitable due to the steep terrain and the possibility of mud (especially in the rainy season).

-Light raincoat or windbreaker jacket and bathing suit, as our climate is very variable, they may become necessary at any time.

-Hat and sunglasses with UV filter as well as sunscreen (ideally natural).

-Small backpack for day hikes.

-Medications and other supplements necessary for your health and well-being.

-Insect repellent (ideally organic and biodegradable).

-Water bottles (preferably of 1L)

-Personal hygiene products (preferably eco-friendly)

-Flashlight

-Binoculars (they could be very useful to appreciate the incredible diversity of birds of the place)

-Camera or cell phone to take pictures
